This workshop is now full. For more information on future teacher opportunities, please contact Stacey Bowlin at sbowlin@galifesciences.org.

This workshop is for middle and high school science teachers who are interested in incorporating cutting-edge laboratory science into their curriculum and exposing students to the concept of transforming the manufacture of cell-based therapeutics into a large-scale, lower-cost, reproducible, and high-quality engineered process for broad industry and clinical use. Participants will join CMaT staff and students to explore and tour a cell manufacturing lab, learn about current research and future opportunities with CMaT, and perform several hands-on labs which include techniques that can be brought back to the classroom.

We will start the day in the IBB building (315 Ferst Drive Atlanta, GA 30332).

Recommended parking is in the Area 5 North Deck (State St NW, Atlanta, GA 30332) for $15/day. There is a brief walk up the hill to get to IBB. Area 4 parking is also available across Ferst Drive from State Street for $2/hr.
