Description

GLS’s Day at the Capitol brings a select group of life sciences leaders and patient advocates together with policy makers to highlight the industry’s impact on Georgia’s economy, workforce, and innovation ecosystem. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with state leaders, learn about key policy priorities, and connect with peers from across the life sciences community.

Who should attend—and why it matters:
This event is especially important for early-stage, scaling, and growth-stage life sciences companies that don’t regularly engage with policymakers. While Georgia’s larger companies are often at the table, the future of our ecosystem depends on the voices of companies building, hiring, and innovating right now.

It’s easy to assume policy happens somewhere else—or that your investors or larger companies will carry the load. But we cannot secure a stable FDA environment, sustained science investment, workforce pipelines, or a competitive innovation ecosystem without a broad, visible industry presence behind these priorities. Policymakers need to hear directly from the companies creating jobs, advancing science, and navigating regulatory and capital challenges on the ground.

If you want Georgia to be a place where life sciences companies can start, scale, and stay—this is your moment to show up.

This event is open to active GLS members, space is limited.
